You can be a grown woman with a family of your own and still feel sixteen again when somebody says, “Well, you’ve always been that way.” One little comment across the table, and there you are, deciding whether to defend yourself or just pass the potatoes. Today, we are getting equipped to be firmly rooted in our NEW identity in Christ alone, no matter what comes our way this holiday season.
On Day 2, I open with the story of a grown woman who asked a pastor and his wife to adopt her. She’d already picked out a new name. When I heard why she wanted that name, it made me think about a question I want us to take into our day 2 study….. When an old story about you comes up, whose voice gets to tell you who you are today?
Grab your Bible and pull up a seat as we dive into Ephesians Ch. 2.
