Restored Identity for the Holidays | Day 01: Who We Are in Christ

Identity Restored Bible Study -Ephesians 1

Sometimes the hardest part of the holidays is what comes back around with them. It could be a familiar comment, an old family pattern, pressure to make everyone happy, or struggling through unforgiveness of someone who once hurt us that we now have to see. Even the excitement and the joy of the season can leave us pulled in so many directions that we lose sight of what matters most.

Today, we opened God’s Word and began Restored Identity, a study through some of Paul’s letters to help us understand who we are in Christ and who He is to us.

If you are not yet subscribed, make sure that you join us so you get alerted when we go live withthe study as we go along.

Our first stop is Ephesians 1.

We also look at the story behind the letter in Acts 19, where following Jesus began changing what people trusted and valued. That raises a question for us as we approach the holidays: What are we allowing to carry the most weight in our lives?

My hope and prayer is that this study will help us enter the season grounded in our relationship with the Father, equipped to walk in His peace and joy through whatever comes our way. We’ll make room for His Word to speak into the places where shame, expectations, and old labels have shaped how we see ourselves.

Grab your Bible, pull up a seat on the porch swing, and press play. If you couldn’t join us live, you can begin right here.
