There are prayers we expect to pray as we go along in this life….
Prayers for healing.
Prayers for wisdom.
Prayers for our children.
Then, there are the prayers that catch us completely off guard.
The ones that begin with:
“Lord...I thought we already dealt with this.”
I think one of the greatest misconceptions in the Christian life is believing that if something resurfaces, we’ve somehow failed.
Maybe our faith wasn’t strong enough.
Maybe we didn’t forgive enough.
Maybe we didn’t trust God enough.
I’ve discovered the opposite can be true.
Sometimes what feels like a setback is actually an invitation.
Not an invitation into condemnation.
An invitation into deeper freedom.
I’ve learned that our Father is remarkably gentle. He doesn’t expose our hearts to shame us. He reveals what He’s ready to heal.
That changes everything.
This week’s Worthy Womb Podcast is one of the most personal conversations I’ve shared yet. It challenged the way I think about healing and reminded me that Jesus is never impatient with our process.
If you’ve ever wondered why God sometimes brings your attention back to something you thought was long behind you, I think this conversation will encourage you.
Life has a way of planting things we never invited. A painful experience can leave behind fear. Betrayal can leave behind distrust. Rejection can leave behind insecurity. An abortion encounter can leave behind shame, self-condemnation, or the belief that you’re somehow disqualified from being fully loved by God.
The enemy rarely settles for one wound. He wants that wound to produce something that continues to shape how we think, respond, and relate to the people we love.
The beautiful news is that Jesus never intended for us to simply survive our past. He came to redeem every part of our story. His desire isn’t merely to forgive us; it’s to restore us.
Ready to Stop Wondering Why You Still Feel Stuck?
If you found yourself nodding along as you read this, I want you to know something:
You don’t have to figure this out alone.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing that something is wrong. It’s understanding why you keep finding yourself in the same emotional patterns, despite your love for Jesus and your desire to move forward.
That’s exactly why I offer a complimentary Discovery Call.
This isn’t a coaching session; it’s simply a safe conversation where I get to hear your story, learn where you feel stuck, and help you discern whether 1:1 Identity Restoration Coaching is the right next step for your healing journey.
By the end of our conversation, you’ll have greater clarity about where you are in your healing journey and whether my coaching approach is the right fit for your needs. Together, we’ll explore where you may be feeling stuck and discern your next step. My signature WOMB™ Protocol helps Christian women identify the lies keeping them stuck, partner with Jesus in healing, and rediscover their identity in Christ.
If today’s conversation resonates with you and you’d like to know more of my story, I invite you to read my memoir, Ring of Fire.
This isn’t just the story of a woman facing an abortion encounter. It’s the story of an enemy determined to steal, kill, and destroy, and a Savior whose rescuing love never stopped pursuing me.
Throughout the book, you’ll see how the enemy quietly plants lies to keep us trapped in shame, fear, striving, and silence. More importantly, you’ll see Jesus faithfully step into some of the darkest moments of my life to rescue, restore, redeem, and remind me of who I truly am in Him.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your past has disqualified you from God’s purpose, I pray Ring of Fire reminds you that no lie is stronger than God’s truth, no pit is deeper than His grace, and no story is beyond His power to redeem.
The enemy may have a plan for destruction, but Jesus always has the final word. Read how the love of Jesus redeemed me and has the power to transform you as well, no matter what your past says.
