Why Kingdom Connections Matter
When God Sends You An Assignment Bigger Than You, He Will ALWAYS Send Others to Help You Along The Way.
It has taken me a few years to grasp the truth that when God assigns me a mission that I feel is beyond me, I can ALWAYS expect a new Kingdom connection that is POWERFUL to show up.
Every. Single. Time…without fail, He is faithful.
This is a Biblical principle. You can look at numerous places in scripture and see that whenever God asks an individual to do something significant for His Kingdom, He always follows up with sending reinforcements to encourage and help. It really is Proverbs 27:17 in action - “As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.”
This is exactly what we are working to create with our Worthy Womb Community here on Substack. It is a safe place where women can come together inside of a supportive and authentic place. This is a home where it is safe to drop the Christian mask and simply be honest about what you are carrying. We can have the hard conversations here that we are not often having inside the church. I have said it before, and I will say it again..I LOVE THE CHURCH! I am an active member of our church, and I DO NOT advocate anyone trying to walk alone in the journey. The Word of God warns us not to forsake the assembling of believers. I am simply saying that hard conversations, like those surrounding abortion, are not typically spoken about in most of the churches today. There has to be a place that we can come together to talk about the pain and guilt that we have silently carried for way too long. My heart is to see that we would one day NOT need this space because the body of Christ has openly begun discussing this very real issue without shying away for fear of offending some.
If we are followers of Jesus, we need to do what Jesus did - He ate with sinners and tax collectors, who were not socially accepted by the religious leaders of the day. We have to be bold enough to step outside of our comfort zone to comfort others, just as Jesus did.
I am so thankful that the Lord is always making Kingdom connections that bless me and help equip me as I go along in the journey to carry forth the mission. Last year, He asked me if I would be willing to reach 1 BILLION women with His truth of love, redemption, and restoration after an abortion encounter. I quickly responded with my typical, “Yes, Lord, You know I will,” and He said, “Count the cost because 1 billion is to START WITH…that is your floor, NOT YOUR CEILING!” I sat there for a moment, a bit stunned by the weight of what He revealed to me. Fear, doubt, unbelief all began to try to well up inside of my mind. I started thinking logically in my human understanding and started to forget that the God of the universe is always faithful to send the resources and reinforcements when the assignment is from Him.
Biblical examples of when God made Kingdom connections:
Exodus 17:8-13 - Moses, Aaron, and Hur
Assignment: Lead Israel in battle.
Support sent: Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ hands when he grew tired. When Moses’ hands were lifted, Israel prevailed. When his hands dropped, the enemy gained ground.
Deuteronomy 31:7-8; Joshua 1:1-9 - Joshua and Moses
Assignment: Joshua would lead Israel into the Promised Land.
Support sent: Moses trained, commissioned, and encouraged Joshua.Joshua did not just magically appear ready. He walked with Moses before he led after Moses.
Ruth 1-4 - Naomi and Ruth
Assignment: Ruth would become part of the lineage of Jesus.
Support sent: Naomi guided Ruth into covenant, wisdom, and positioning.Ruth’s destiny was bigger than she knew, but Naomi helped her know where to go, how to move, and what steps to take.
1 Samuel 18:1-4; 1 Samuel 23:16-18 - David and Jonathan
Assignment: David was chosen to become king.
Support sent: Jonathan strengthened David while Saul was trying to destroy him.Jonathan helped David stay alive, reminded him of God’s promise, and made a covenant with him.
1 Kings 19:19-21; 2 Kings 2:1-15 - Elijah and Elisha
Assignment: Elijah carried prophetic authority; Elisha would continue the mantle.
Support sent: Elisha became Elijah’s servant, student, and successor.Elisha walked with Elijah before receiving a double portion. God often sends people not only to help you now, but to carry the work forward after you.
Esther 4:13-14 - Esther and Mordecai
Assignment: Esther was positioned to help save her people.
Support sent: Mordecai challenged her to recognize the moment. He did not let her hide in comfort when her people were in danger. Sometimes the person God sends will not just comfort you. They will call you up into your destiny.
Luke 1:39-45 - Mary and Elizabeth
Assignment: Mary would carry and birth Jesus.
Support sent: Elizabeth, who confirmed what God was doing.Mary went to Elizabeth after receiving the angel’s message, and Elizabeth’s baby leaped in her womb. Elizabeth affirmed Mary’s faith and calling.
Acts 9:26-28; Acts 13:2-3 - Paul and Barnabas
Assignment: Paul was called to preach Christ to the Gentiles.
Support sent: Barnabas vouched for Paul, encouraged him, and partnered with him in ministry. When others were afraid of Paul because of his past, Barnabas stood beside him.
Today, I want to encourage you that if you have something BIG growing inside of you that was placed by the Lord, then rest assured that He will supply all of your needs, even sending the reinforcements to help you carry out the mission. I will challenge you to pray that the Lord would use YOU to be an encouragement and source of support for someone else as well. In my non-profit, Fit 4 The Kingdom Ministries, INC., I often refer to a “Kingdom Lift”. This simply means that when we come together and link arms, we are able to lift the Kingdom of Heaven up collectively, as ONE. That way, we can carry more weight and reach higher success. If you want to know more about the things we are doing on the ministry side or help sow a tax deductible seed, please reach out.

Want More Community?
This September, I am opening the paid side of The Worthy Womb community with our first guided Bible study, Remember Who You Are: A 30-Day Study Through Ephesians.
The free side of this space will continue. You will still receive podcast updates, encouragement, public articles, and truth-filled reminders that shame does not get the final word over your life.
The paid community will be the deeper discipleship space.
Inside, we will begin by walking slowly through Ephesians together with Scripture, reflection questions, prayer, identity declarations, and community conversation. This is where we will take what we are reading and ask the honest questions: What lie have I been believing? Where has shame named me? What does God actually say about who I am in Christ?
This is about creating a focused, intentional space for women who are ready to stop surviving in silence and start walking in the truth Jesus already paid for.
We will begin in September, and founding members will help set the table for what this community becomes.
If you are ready for a deeper place to heal, grow, study the Word, and remember who you are in Christ, I would love to have you join us.
